So yeah, I do realize that I have not written on here in about 5 months.  Really...I don't know why. 
So I'll just start be recapping the best I can what has taken place over the past 5 months in a really boring, simple manner!

~September...kids and I in school and house hunting.

~October...We moved!  That was stressful!  But we did it and LOVE where we are now.  Still in the same town, but not in a neighborhood anymore!  We live on a great acre of land where the kids can run and play and we see deer every day!  Halloween was fun!  Austin was a werewolf, Ryland was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Matt was a zombie.  We went downtown and trick-or-treating.  Loved it!

~November...Austin had his 7th birthday!  We had 2 parties and a lot of fun.  Jim and Lori came for a visit, that was fun too!  Thanksgiving was nice.

~December...Christmas in Socal this year!  We really had a nice and relaxing time!  The boys are at such fun ages for Christmas!  Had a fantastic time!

Now we are here in January!
  Austin had a challenging first part of the school year this year.  I put him in school early, when he was still 4.  Matt really disagreed but because he was academically ready I did.  Well, he wasn't socially ready and that has been proven year after year since then.

  Finally things were getting too tough for him in second grade this year and we needed to do something about it.  Long story short,  Austin has moved schools to a really amazing school!  Its such a better fit for him and his teacher is amazing.  He has also gone back to the first grade.  Although he academically was fine in second grade,  he needs more time to develop social and emotional skills with kids closer to his own age.  He is doing fantastic!  This is only his second week at his new school, and we have to work hard on engaging him in class so he doesn't get bored, but his teacher agrees that he is right where he should be on all other aspects!

Matt is doing well at work and plugging right along.  He is preparing again for the annual survey that is coming up again in the next couple of months.  He discovered Disc Golf,  aka Frisbee Golf and now plays almost daily.  Austin and him both love it.  We have a local park with a course at it and they both really love getting out there and playing.  It's too cold for Ry and I, so we either just run around the park trying to stay warm or opt out and stay home!  It is a lot of fun though.

I am taking this semester off of school.  Therefor, I am also going to work with Ryland at home for his pre-k and he no longer is going to his preschool.  I thought he would really miss it, but he loves "Homeschool"! 

Why am I taking a semester off?  Well,  due to arrive at the beginning of April is our third addition to our little family!  We are excitedly expecting our third Baby BOY!  Yes,  it seems we only make boys...and we're just fine with that!  Austin and Ryland are getting more excited every day, we only have about 11 weeks to go! 

So there you have it.  A recap of the past 5 months and I feel so much better getting back on here!

We are so looking forward to Spring!  Not only with our little guy arriving, but Austins first year of Little League, the weather warming up and lots of time playing outside!
